U13 Girls V BT Harps

Our U13 girls travelled to Templemore today to take on Bt Harps. For different reasons, we were down to the bare 11. This didn't stop us from getting stuck in, though!! We won the toss and elected to play against the strong wind in the opening half. While we struggled for numbers, Bt had their full compliment, so we were under some pressure in that first half. They got 3 on us before the break, so it was uphill all the way in the second period. We performed much better playing with the wind but unfortunately couldn't put anything past the Bt keeper. They however manged 1 more goal on us, leaving the game 4-0 in their favour.
We had Katie Hartnett in goals, Amy-Louise O'Dwyer, Kate McGrath, Holly Fitzpatrick, and Carly Kenneally at the back today. We had Amy Keogh, Anna Gleeson, Caoimhe Manley and Lily Dunne in midfield and Alicia Dywer, and Clodagh Kinsella up front.
All our girls gave everything and played well despite being on the losing end of things. Our stand-out player today was Holly Fitzpatrick who was brilliant throughout.
