Ballymackey Women won 8-1 on the road away to Banagher United. Ballymackey lead 0-3 at the break with 2 goals from Joanne O Brien and an effort from Laura Gleeson. Banagher pulled a goal back in the second half, but Ballymackey made better use of the space available in the second half to stretch their opponents and 2 goals a piece from Allison McDonnell and Seonaid McGuigan as well as a Christine O Keefe strike saw Ballymackey push clear. Pleasing to see the depth of strength in the squad with 5 players stepping in from last week and Ballymackey maintaining their standard of play. Karan Hogan was commanding at the centre of the visitors defence and Lisa Toohey and Joanne O Brien covered an amount of ground in the middle of the field in very hot conditions, with Joanne just piping Lisa for player of the match.
