Ballymackey u15 girls entertained arra in the league today and recorded a big win. The game could be summed up by Ballymackey start to both halves. In the first half two minutes in Grainne Troy raced through on goal and finished into the corner of the net. Straight from the kick off in the second half olivia Looby raced through on goals beating numerous players to score after 27 seconds. Ballymackey were on top through out, showing a great work rate, and some lovely passing movements. In goals Emma o connell and molly Conway were solid throughout with Emma producing a great point blank save from a header in the first half. The backs of clodagh Murphy, Olivia Fitzpatrick, Anna Fitzgerald and Lauren Cleary dealt with everything arra threw at them to ensure a clean sheet with Lauren also getting on the scoresheet in the second half. The midfield trio of Caoimhe Cleary, Isabell Ryan and Grainne Troy all played really well to control the midfield with Grainne scoring in both halves. On the wings Alina  Guzan and Maia batkiewicz both kept driving at the arra defence and Olivia Looby caused trouble for arra every time she got the ball and scored some lovely goals. Up front Mary Kate Purtill come close to getting on the scoresheet while captain lily Kate kenneally scored in the first half and was a constant thorn in the arra defense. It was Ballymackeys best performance of the season with all the girls contributing to the win.
