Ballymackey u12b girls entertained Arra in the league tonight in ballymackey, it was a very entertaining game with ballymackey winning it 2-1 in injury time, it was scoreless at the break though ballymackey had done most of the attacking, 10 mins into the second half Ballymackey were awarded a penalty but the arra goalie saved it, 5 mins later arra were ahead, the girls didn’t let that deter them and a few mins later Fiadh Kennedy got the ball in the box beat a defender and blasted past the goalie, the girls pushed hard for a winner and into injury time were awarded a free kick outside the box, up stepped Caoimhe Tierney and struck the ball into the net for the win.
