Ballymackey u12 girls took on broadford from the limerick Desmond league in ballinree today, the girls can consider themselves unlucky to come out the wrong side of a 1-0 score line, ballymackey had the better of the first half and came close on a number of occasion the best of which came from Gretta mounsey  who was denied by great goalkeeping when thru 1 on 1. Broadford scored from a corner on a rare forey into the Ballymackey half. The second half was a more even affair with neither team creating any clear chances. Well done to broadford and best of luck to them for the rest of the season.
