Great news as Bishop Harty National School Ballinree have secured Clár funding of 45,000 euro towards a new car park and set down area to be located in Ballymackey FC Grounds on the area between the Church and the Astro Pitch.

The funding comes under Clar Measure 1 : Support for schools/ community safety measures. The Department of Rural and Community Development administers the fund and it is part of the Governments Project Ireland 2040 rural regeneration program. The new car park will be used 7 days a week and will be of huge benefit to the School, our club and also the Church. We would like to all involved in securing this funding, the Principal and Board of management of Bishop Harty NS, the Ballymackey FC Development Committee (Ballymackey FC LTD), Council Engineer Peter Fee and especially Councilor Joe Hannigan.

The project will kick off what will be an exciting period for the ongoing development of our facility with multiple projects that will be of benefit to our surrounding communities as well as the Club due to start in the coming months.
