A first taste of competitive football for practically all of our lads tonight, and all our players did themselves proud. A super performance from one ‘n’ all.

The score line doesn’t truly reflect the dominance Ballymackey held in this game. From start to finish this was a disciplined performance with some crisp passing creating attack after attack and an even more disciplined defense that afforded few chances to the hosts who’s goals came from frees close in with little our keeper Cullen Hassett could do to stop. Cullen had a great night in goal where he commanded his area and repeatedly found his team mates with some smart kick outs.

Ballymackey’s goals came from Cormac Frend Liam Hackett Patrick Hackett, Jack Fitzpatrick Ryan Moloney and Michael Ryan The build up play to these goals was equally a joy to watch with Darragh Kelly, Adam White Cody Quirk Donnacha Frend all hugely contributing to our victory.
