We have being lucky for the last few months to have had Spanish exchange student Maria Parejo training with us and playing with our U16 Girls. Maria had not played organised football before but once we got her sorted with a pair of boots there was no stoping her. She is returning home to Spain and we will really miss her as a player and a person (not sure if we notice any improvement in the Spanish of our Scholars studying the subject but hopefully Maria's English has improved.) We wish her safe home and a Merry Christmas and maybe we will cross paths again, Maria might have an award coming her way as she is contention for goal of the season for her fine solo effort away to Birdhill.
