All will probably know that Ballymackey FC started our Building Project in December 2019. We had hoped to mount a major Fundraising drive in 2020 to see this project to fruition, but the restrictions due to Covid-19 have hugely hampered our efforts. This phase of the development like the previous phases is driven strongly by a combination of fundraising efforts and Grant aid. To date €650,000 has been spent on our facilities with minimum borrowings, our current outstanding loan amount is €13000 and in these uncertain times we are now more than ever anxious not to burden the club with debt and stick to our successful model of strong Fundraising. Covid-19 restrictions came in as we were in the middle of trying to sell our Annual Patrons Draw and a new Calf raring Fundraiser. To try and make up lost ground we have launched a go fund me campaign to try and seek some help to get our project over the line. We are hoping all who appreciate what we do at our Club, can help us out again in these uncertain times. This building and especially the toilet and washing facilities within will be needed more than ever as we adapt to our new normal.
