Our under 6 and 8 girls have started back training and who better to Coach them than girls that started the same journey as them 9 or 10 years ago.

We are very lucky to have 3 seventeen year old coaches and active club players, Laura, Amy and Aoibhín planning and running the training for our youngest players.

The 3 girls have played for the club from a similar young age all the way to senior Women's Football. They are bringing their 10 years playing experience along with their impressive Coaching qualifications to bare on our enthusiastic young players and providing fantastic fun and learning for our future stars every Saturday 1-2pm (new players always welcome).

It is a huge source of pride in our club to have a large contingent of U18/17/16 players boys and girls that have took the time to gain coaching qualifications with a view to helping out with the younger players in the club, similarly to the girls our youngest boys are been coached by qualified 16 and 17 year old coaches.

Each one teach one is a great mantra, Amy, Laura and Aoibhín started playing at 8 years of age under Ann Bergin who still coaches the girls at Senior level today. As well as inspiring a group of girls to stay playing to Senior football, 15 girls who started at a young age under Ann are qualified FAI Coaches and have worked with young girls in the club, on Summer and Easter Camps and on Schools Programs if these 15 girls can inspire the next generation as well as Ann inspired them, the future will be bright for the club.
