Ballymackey u12 girls had a comfortable 4-0 victory over Lough Derg in the quarter final of the u12 cup. Ballymackey were on the front foot for the off and went ahead early off through Charlotte Deegan, soon after it was two when from an Olivia Looby cross Charlotte Deegan got her second. Ballymackey came close to a third through aoibhe hassett and Caoimhe Cleary. The third did arrive through a lovely passing move started on the right wing through Charlotte Deegan who found Grainne Troy and she played a first time pass into Olivia Looby who rounded one defender before firing home. Into the second half and Olivia ran down the left wing before firing home. Mandy England and molly o Brien came close to a fifth but were denied by some good goalkeeping. At the other end niamh Spain and Abigail Armstrong defended strongly to keep the clean sheet intact.
