Ballymackey u13 girls welcomed Knigh today in the semi final of the cup. Missing a few players due to injury the girls produced a very good display despite losing 4-0. Knigh took the lead in the first minute but ballymackey settled and came into the game, Lauren Cleary worked tirelessly upfront, Olivia Looby was a danger through out and came close to scoring on a few occasions, in the last 5 minutes before half time Knigh scored two more goals to kill off the game. The second half Ballymackey kept working hard, at the back Anna Fitzgerald and Isabel Ryan were excellent throughout, Grainne Troy in midfield gave a great display attacking and defending all day, Knigh scored a fourth near the end but the Ballymackey girls can be very proud of their display.
